![]() ![]() The guy restrained walker while the group he was a part of killed his friend. She's a very sympathetic character and audience can easily emphasise with her, but she to me became an antagonist during the show, and felt having a evil witch who wanted power for power's sake at finale for her to fight was just done to make it easier for people to view her as a 'good' person, despite messedu p things she choses to do in showĬaptain America killed people all the time who was fighting against him, take opening to winter solider. She is literally torturing residents, told by two of people she trusts and Rambeau that being in hex is painful, and out of desire to save vision choses to extend hex mind controlling and torturing all agents monitoring her. Sure she didn't 'know' what she was doing, but I think given context that she is the one who made hex not Agatha, and is directly confronted in show about how its torture by both vision and Petero but continues to keep it up, the excuse she isn't aware of it stops once she knows what she's doing and continues to keep it up. ![]() Personally I really like how they made character more morally clouded for most part, being unsure during most of show whenever she was really protagonist or antagonist.Īnd I would disagree shes a sociopath, she shows very manipulative and callous behaviour. She herself talked about how painful process was, and warned Wanda who knew it was painful during later half of series but deliberately kept them under control because it suited her needs. Take line by Rambeau at end to Agatha about town 'they don't know what you sacrificed for them'. That wasn't her subconscious, she did that on purpose. Plus she made conscious effort to mindwipe Vision when he realised what was wrong. I think the way they handled the character was fantastic for most part, but finale really dropped ball and made show worse. She literally strangles people in last episode, is given multiple chances throughout series to stop, but choses not to out of her own grief. It seems so jarring for her to become the hero considering what Wanda did previously in the show. Having a evil version of a witch and robot is such a generic finale to story where they fight bad guys and 'save town'. Yeah I feel it was building up to her being a villain, before copping out with Agatha.
